Antiparos has a quietness that other busy Cycladic islands have lost. The beaches here take you back to a slower pace. There’s Beach House, Soros beach, and the Panteronissia islets, which you can reach by small ferry boats called pantofles. And then there’s La Luna, an open-air discotheque under the Greek sky that starts after four in the morning and ends at sunrise. Antiparos brings all of this together naturally. It’s quieter than its neighbour, Paros, less crowded, and feels more authentic. They held their pre-wedding party at Beach House Antiparos, the ceremony and reception at Agrilia Estate. It was a private celebration with the people who mattered most.

Some couples trust you before the day even starts. Maria and Arnaud did just that. We photographed their wedding from the inside, being present in the moments instead of just watching from afar.The island made everything easy. Antiparos doesn’t try to impress, and neither did they.The morning after the wedding, we walked with Maria and Arnaud along the shore. The sand was warm, the water open, and the island felt even quieter than the day before. We let the coastline guide us. It was just the two of them and the special morning light of Antiparos. The photos from that session have the same feeling as the film we made: it always felt like their story belonged by the shore.
