This past winter started of with our round trip around Europe, visiting favorite couples, our new friends.

Our trip to Amsterdam. Days to remember. Invited by our Cats for the official infamous arChive album presentation ritual. We shared time and most of all emotions. The wedding, now a warm and sweet memory. We were there to revive all the important, the unseen and the forgotten. Their reactions moved us, as they discovered them selves through our images. Right there and then, we decided this was not going to end here. So we let our imagination race to the next connecting point, already starting to observe and capture precious moments of their everyday life. This is because a wedding should not last a day, but a lifetime. Suddenly Amsterdam became our scenery, the perfect backdrop for a new twist of the plot.

Wedding Cinematography’s way of cheating

As in our wedding photography, so is our wedding cinematography, guided from our passion to interpret moments in a unique way, and reveal connections unseen . We do not direct life, but we discover the story behind the story, there, waiting to be told. And there’s always more,  as long as  your heart remains open,  to feel and to  embrace. For our Cats, it was all about the fun, the joy, the laughters and the romance, that filled their wedding days in Symi. It is all about the Love that fills their life in Amsterdam. In everything they do and share.

So… Watch and enjoy our cinematic glimpse, become an everyday fairytale. As is your own. The one you hold precious.

With love

Indian Wedding Video Koh Samui

THE CINEMATIC CLIP

“Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass. Its about learning to dance in the rain”

// We travelled to Thailand to be part of this beautiful family and to witness this love story. Overwhelmed by the energy around them, we let ourselves get carried away. Writing down what we saw and what we felt, frame by frame, in this longer version of their story, of all that happened during these days of our stay in Koh Samui. Inspired by the intensity in their eyes, and the storm that came to testify for this. This cinematic wedding video, the longer version approach, talks about love, the one in a lifetime. And we were honoured to be the storytellers.

The Story

// Once upon a time and not so long ago in Koh Samui – in Thai เกาะสมุย the beautiful island off the east coast of Thailand, Hina and Shamshir made their dream come true.
We all know we can write the best chapters in life with love, and this was not plain love, it was destiny.
A beautiful wedding, in this amazing tropical scenery, that was as challenging an experience as a tropical monsoon. A wedding that will be remembered by all, as being very special, leaving us with a quirky smile for a number of peculiarities that we shall not reveal…

// We were overwhelmed by the endless dreamy tropical sandy beaches, the coral reefs lost in tides, in a tantalising composition of turquoise water, among jungles of  coconut trees, the island looked like a well-established Hollywood celebrity: outrageously manicured, with lovely blonde tresses so gracefully groomed. No other enviroment could be more suitable for this wedding.

// Meanwhile, and contrary to our plans, the weather played silly games around us, but the spirits were high. This was indeed a very special day and nothing special is ever common, even when it comes to storms. When destiny is present nothing can stop it from happening.

The Indian Wedding

// And there were beautiful people, colors everywhere, singing that turned wishes to love and love to more wishes. There were vows, bonding families and symbolisms that left us feeling blessed. A word Hina never forgets to utter. There was dancing in the rain and there was rain.

// We shall not forget the kind hospitality and spirit of both their families and loved ones. Privileged to have been, to have seen, to have captured and to have shared. And to have added yet another couple in our family.

// Note to Hina & Shamshir > The name samui is mysterious in itself. We were told by natives that  the word “Samui” derives from the Malay word “saboey”, or “safe heaven”. And this is what we keep.

Wedding in Varkiza – Island Gallery wedding: Alex & Maite

The storytelling Wedding Video, for a most amazing  couple and  their special wedding day at Island Gallery – Varkiza. We are very enthusiastic for sharing this wedding video clip as it carries loads of Love, Friendship and Warmth. We are certain it will make you smile!

“How do I love you?

Let me count the ways.

I love you out of the box, so shiny, pink, and new

I love you with every pique, pirouette, tendu

Second skin of my feet, keeper of my sole

Every step I take, your virtues I extol

The lines you draw, the patterns you trace

At the barre and in the center, you fill a sacred space

Adorned with ribbon like a satin-wrapped prize

Hiding within elegance the pain you disguise

I love you in class, in rehearsal, and on stage

Treasure beyond measure, my spirits you raise

My road to ballet is paved with blood, sweat and tears

You are my companion persistent through the years

Vertical suspension, the summit of my desire

You beneath me, the wings beneath my fire

From toil and struggle, the suffering for your sake

Comes dance so joyous, ever-worthy to create”

If we could see your last pair of shoes, worn out of dancing, we could still dance through every memory, and give these pictures something to keep in your heart. The very special story of a Greek boy and a Basque girl. Alex and Maite, whose story we yet cannot reveal.

Wedding Photography Hydra | Evi & Amédée – 23/7/2016

Wedding photography Hydra – The wedding of Evi & Amédée

Wedding photography is a challenge for us. And we always like to reveal a story. The unseen. One that highlights details, that otherwise would be forgotten. One that reveals a different perspective each time you revisit your imagery.

So, for Evi and Amédée the question was: What if ?

What if we had the ability to relive a day in our past

to travel backwards in time

to feel that special moment again

Their wedding took place in Hydra. Built in the shape of an amphitheatre on a slope overlooking the Argosaronic gulf, Hydra is one of the most romantic wedding destinations in Greece. Traditional stone mansions, narrow cobblestoned streets, secluded squares. But above all the banning of cars and the use of around 500 donkeys as means of public transportation, explain the reason why Hydra preserved its distinctive atmosphere through the passage of time.

An Island with a strong personality and aesthetics, that kept its special aura through time. A small hint, was enough to make them fall in love with the island. A love at first sight, could not keep Amédée and Evi from deciding to get married in Hydra.

Following our preview post, we prepared a storytelling presentation of their wedding album, a story of all that happened during these three days of their wedding in Hydra. A beautiful story of beautiful people, with smiles so warm and genuine, smiles with just the right touch of shyness filling us with this unexpected warmth that makes the world seem ever so beautiful.

We once again wish you, joy and happiness on this wonderful journey, as you build your lives together.

Wedding Video Ktima 48 – Cinematic Clip

Wedding video ktima 48

Enjoy our wedding cinematography in Greece with this wedding video from a wedding at ktima 48, a very well known venue in Leoforos Athinon Souniou 48th km, Anavyssos. A lovely location in the Athens Riviera and a perfect destination for your wedding in Greece.
Naturally this is about the story of Ioannis & Kallia. Traveled all the way from London, to Athens and finally to Milos, Cyclades for a beautiful day after session that concluded their wedding photography.

In this wedding video story we chose to focus on words. Not obvious words. Words and meanings reserved for special moments in our lives. Initially they came up as random thoughts and and eventually ended up in forms that would unite the lives of two people and make a difference.

“Companionship, Trust, Love.

We hold the warmth of in their voices. Every image we filmed with them (in Ktima 48 or beautiful Milos, Cyclades) carried the essence of their relationship.

We adore the sea, the summer breeze and the blending colours. We are addicted to joy, happiness and parties, but mostly the sharing of all. Stiring your emotions is what we aim for. Every aspect of our wedding photography and cinematography bears your sentiments. In our books a wedding video should make you laugh, cry and remember.

There are certain words that mark the beginning of this story. Our favorite one: Trust. This is how we build our relationship with you.

Wedding Video Greece – Antiparos highlight Clip

Wedding Video Greece – Antiparos Wedding Video Clip

The art of sensuality encompassing the exploration and experiencing of all our senses… These stories are being born from and through living the moments of eating favorite chocolate cake with ice-cream, tranquil meditating, walking the beach and feeling the warm breeze on your face and the soothing sand beneath your feet, watching a never repeating its symphony sunset, dancing and feeling your body move through space, smelling flowers in a garden, painting or working with clay, with your fingertips gently touching piano keys or pulling the tense strings of guitar, caressing your ears with the whispers of one’s soul, diving into the depth of loving you eyes, and, joining in a passionate kiss of life…the life of the artist…”

Thank you – Arnaud and Maria, for sharing with us this passion for life with the sincerity of your trust. You don’t have to be a wave to touch the shore, but only a little sand grain to feel almost everything.
